Mikiten Architecture is a dynamic, socially and environmentally responsible firm and are national-award-winning experts in multifamily housing and universal design.
We combine a strong architectural vocabulary with the grace of nature: richness with serenity. Our working style is clear, collaborative, and flexible. We employ cutting-edge computer modeling to investigate design possibilities. Our construction drawings are thoroughly detailed, providing effective cost control. Most importantly, our work revolves around the client.
Begun by Erick Mikiten and Elisa Mikiten in 1991, Mikiten Architecture’s two founding goals were to design creative multifamily affordable housing and provide new levels of disabled access (universal design). For years we have incorporated green design strategies and materials into our work.
Our résumé includes all types of residential work from family homes to apartment complexes; retail spaces, restaurants and bars; educational facilities; and commercial buildings. We are experienced with financing from HUD 811 and 202 to tax credits and can help clients navigate the complexities of multiple-source funding requirements. We welcome opportunities to be creative with new building types. |
