A House for Love SUMMARY: In life and in architecture wholeness comes through diversity, not singularity. This house is for a pair of impassioned lovers seeking growth through togetherness. In designing it I contemplated an effect first, then chose images or principles that would convey it. Edgar Allen Poe described this design method in his 1846 essay "The Philosophy of Composition.". |
