In order to accommodate the County’s parking requirements, and to provide the most retail and apartment areas possible, the efficient building is designed around a courtyard shared by the apartment residents above and retail shoppers on the ground floor. The south-facing open space will have a fountain and will provide a richer experience for all, more like a European plaza than a strip shopping center. A second floor balcony provides a more private space for residents
